Finding a COSHH Assessment:
- Navigation
- Go to the COSHH Assessment module by using the sidebar.
- Click on the Search for a COSHH Assessment to get started
- Filtering the Search
The COSHH module provides 2 sets of filtering options, the initial criteria provided on the page, along with the further criteria tab that can be used for advanced searches.- Reference - Use this field if you have an assessment reference number
Show - Select the status of records you want to view, such as complete without sign-off
Sort Results By - Choose how you'd like to order your search results.
Filter to specific area - Filter results by the structure location of the report is tied to
Actioned by - Only view records containing an action for a specific user to complete, this can be a signoff or hazard remedial action
Assessed by - Only view records created by a specific person
Record Reviewer - Only view records that a specific person reviews
- Opening an Assessment
AssessNet displays the results of your search with fields such as Date, Reference, the number of people who were affected, Review info and the current risk number.- If assessments are overdue for review, then the review date will be highlighted in red.
- When clicking on "Options" you will see various operations you can do to the search result. Depending on the permissions level of your account, the number of options will change.
- When you edit an assessment, you will be asked if you would like to create a historical version of the original assessment to refer to later. Clicking "Yes" will create a copy of the current assessment while "No" will overwrite earlier information in the COSHH assessment.
- Saving Search results
- After a search has been completed, you can save the filter criteria of a search to appear under Load Saved Searches.
- This is done through the black Save this Search button in the top right of the Search Results panel.
- One saved search can be set to the default for your account. When next opening the search page it will automatically load the criteria and search with them.
