Co‑op employees warn that the supermarket's rollout of single‑staff shifts under its “Project Lunar” programme is placing them in potentially dangerous situations. Staff report being left alone to manage tills, stock, and deliveries—even during breaks—and recount alarming near‑misses involving shoplifters wielding knives and screwdrivers.
