Paddleboarding Instructor Jailed for Fatal River Incident That Claimed Four Lives

A 39-year-old former police officer, has been sentenced to ten years and six months in prison after pleading guilty to four counts of gross negligence manslaughter and a health and safety violation. In October 2021, she led a paddleboarding tour on the River Cleddau in Haverfordwest, Wales, during hazardous conditions, resulting in the deaths of four people.
